OUR HISTORY

UempowerU Inc was established on July 19, 2006, as a vehicle to make an impactful change in people’s lives.  We noticed a problem within the community, people wanted to bring their talents to help others without having to manage a non-profit organization, thus dedicating the greater part of their time, energy and passion to the people they served and the community at large.

As we were forming we decided we could help, but first, we needed to define how we can help, basically, what is our mission? Once that was established we looked for organizations/people who had a similar mission to ours, so the synergy of the subordinate organizations would support UempowerU’s mission.

UeU established a group exemption to support smaller yet impactful organizations in our communities.

As a non-profit, charitable corporation we provide the general community the training, guidance, instruction, and education to improve themselves and to participate in a wholistic lifestyle.

UEU accomplishes this goal through subordinate organizations, referred to as “affiliates”.

• Affiliation and collaboration with other subordinate organizations under UeU and other community organizations, philanthropists and leaders, developing a well-rounded network of people who can support your mission.
• Tax exemption status. Avoiding the need to apply for an exemption. A group exemption letter has the same effect as an individual exemption letter except that it applies to more than one organization.

(f) a network of association and collaboration with community organizations, philanthropists and leaders, developing a well-rounded network of people who can support your mission.

Our affiliates’ programs are facilitated by professionals of various psychological, health and spiritual disciplines.  This integrated approach will help clients better understand themselves and the world around them.
